You are one happy baby! In the past month you have really started to smile, giggle and interact with us. We can really start to see your little personality peeking through at us and it is so much fun watch. You had a bit of a rough patch for about a week this month where you were a pretty cranky baby but you came out a happier baby in the end. Momma thinks you were doing some pre-teething teething, but whatever the reason for the fussiness we are happy it is over.
The biggest event this month is that you have rolled over for the first time! and a second time! By chance we caught the first roll over on video...and will do a separate post on this exciting event. Momma got teary eyed over the whole event as she realizes you are growing up way too fast. You are also starting to really want to stand and sit up, but want absolutely nothing to do with crawling. Your legs are very strong and we would not be surprised if you are a walker before a crawler. You still enjoy kicking away on your play mat and swinging in your swing, but you love sitting in your high chair at the table. Every night you sit in your chair while mom and dad eat dinner and you just smile and giggle the whole time. You have also really started to enjoy peek-a-boo. You especially love when daddy plays peek-a-boo with you. You smile every single time.
You are also starting to really pack on the pounds. From weighing you at home you are roughly 11.5 pounds. We have your 4 month Dr. appt on May 1st so we will get an update on how you are growing. You are just barely still fitting into your 3 month clothing and will probably be out of it in another week or so. Pretty impressive for our tiny 4 pound 12 ounce baby boy.
